Ghanaur-The other day, in the Ghanaur constituency, under the leadership of Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer, President of the Youth Wing of the Shiromani Akali Dal, more than 50 families joined the Shiromani Akali Dal after bidding farewell to the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party. On this occasion, great enthusiasm was witnessed among party workers and local residents.
Under the leadership of the spirited leader S. Heera Singh from villages Salempur Sekhan and Dahriya, these families left the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress and embraced the Shiromani Akali Dal.
Addressing the gathering, Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer said that the Shiromani Akali Dal is the only party in Punjab that has always stood steadfastly for the rights of Punjab, the Panth and Punjabis. He said that the continuous joining of people with the party is proof that the people of Punjab are once again reposing their trust in the Akali Dal.
Welcoming the newly inducted families, Jhinjer said that the Shiromani Akali Dal is a family-like party where every worker is given full respect, dignity and rights. He said that the Akali Dal has always taken historic and pro-people decisions for rural development and the welfare of farmers, youth, women and the poor.
Launching a sharp attack on the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party, Jhinjer said that both parties, while in power, made only false promises and pushed Punjab towards ruin. He said the Congress has always betrayed Punjab, while the Aam Aadmi Party, over the past four and a half years, has only deceived the people of Punjab.
He said that under the Aam Aadmi Party government, law and order in Punjab has completely failed, with drugs, crime and mafia rule once again raising their heads, and ordinary people feeling unsafe.
Referring to the time of floods, Jhinjer said that when Punjab was in distress, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal stepped forward to help people with ration, cash assistance and diesel, whereas the Aam Aadmi Party government proved to be a complete failure and senior Congress leaders went into hiding. He said that whether in power or not, the Akali Dal has always stood by the people in times of joy and sorrow.
He said that during the Akali Dal government, Punjab had witnessed a new direction of development, but the failed policies of the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party pushed Punjab backwards. Today, Punjab’s youth is disillusioned, farmers are distressed, and the common man is bearing the brunt of misguided policies.
