London-The North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) has formally congratulated UK Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Defence Committee, S. Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi, on being bestowed with the prestigious Sarkar-E-Khalsa Award, a recognition reserved for individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, compassion, and commitment to the Punjabi community.
The award, presented at a special ceremony in Ludhiana, acknowledged Dhesi’s sustained efforts in supporting Punjab during critical moments, especially during the global spotlight created by the Farmers’ Protest, where he consistently raised human rights concerns at international platforms.
