Slough(UK)In a significant milestone for local healthcare services, Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi officially inaugurated the brand-new Slough Community Diagnostic Centre, marking a landmark achievement for the town and its residents.
The inauguration follows a substantial £25 million investment aimed at strengthening access to essential medical tests and diagnostic services. The centre is expected to drastically reduce waiting times, improve patient experience, and ease pressure on hospitals serving the wider region.
Mr. Dhesi expressed deep gratitude to the UK Government and Frimley Health for selecting Slough as the location for this modern healthcare facility. He noted that the decision reflects the community’s and the town’s urgent healthcare needs.
Speaking at the event, he described the opening as “an honour and a proud moment for our town”, emphasising that the new centre will ensure that patients can undergo vital diagnostic tests closer to home, ultimately improving their overall health outcomes.
