Amritsar-Amritsar North MLA Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh has sharply criticised the Aam Aadmi Party’s central leadership, alleging that the organisation he and others worked tirelessly to build has been dismantled under Arvind Kejriwal’s command. He stated that the party’s original values, internal democracy, and commitment to transparency have been compromised, leaving Punjab’s political environment weakened. According to him, Manish Sisodia played a key role in Punjab by applying the complete strategy of “saam, daam, dand, bhed”, which he claims was used to control internal systems and silence independent voices.
Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh also referred to the DM Randhawa case, alleging that political interference and pressure tactics overshadowed the pursuit of justice. He argued that the case reflects a deeper structural problem in Punjab’s governance, where administrative independence is being undermined by centralised decision‑making. He further questioned the functioning of the Bhagwant Mann government, claiming that Punjab is being run under the direct influence of the Delhi High Command, reducing the autonomy of local leadership and weakening the state’s institutional framework.
The MLA also mentioned controversies involving Laljit Bhullar and other internal matters, alleging a lack of transparency and excessive central control. He said these issues have damaged the party’s credibility and exposed what he describes as the “real face” of AAP in Punjab. Concluding his remarks, Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh stated that he will continue to speak out for Punjab’s interests, emphasising that bringing the truth before the people remains his responsibility.
