Chandigarh : Aam Aadmi Party, Punjab General Secretary S. Harchand Singh Burst while issuing a statement said that after 1997 , there were successive Akali Dal and Congress governments in Punjab which ruined Punjab economically. Punjab incurred a debt of more than 3 lakh crores. Punjab’s boards and corporations took loans by pledging them , made schools and hospitals in a bad condition. The rules and laws of institutions were also ignored for personal gains . Along with socio-economic devastation, religious institutions and traditions were also destroyed.
After the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab in the year 2022 , Punjab has started walking on the path of progress after a long time. For a long time, the lives of the common people were becoming difficult due to unrest , chaos and economic downturn in Punjab.
The Aam Aadmi Party government formed under the leadership of S. Bhagwant Singh Mann ji has made the daily life of the common people easier by providing 600 units of electricity free to all sections , free bus rides to all mothers and sisters, free electricity to farmers for 12 hours continuously during the day for tubewells , increasing canal irrigation from 21 % to 76 % to save the groundwater of Punjab , providing insurance of 10 lakhs for common families , keeping a higher budget for schools and education , increasing the budget considering health facilities as a part of life , and running a big campaign against drugs. Along with this, people are also being guided towards economic strength in every aspect.
Work is being done at every level to provide employment to the youth, more than 58000 have been recruited in government departments. The government is working sincerely at every level. Some people are spoiling the atmosphere of Punjab by getting frustrated with all this. Peace is essential for the economic progress of Punjab.
The Aam Aadmi Party government is serious about every issue of Punjab. The drug dealers who spoil the atmosphere of Punjab and create law and order problems are also under full surveillance. The Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab, S. Bhagwant Singh Mann Ji has given strict instructions to solve every issue against those who do illegal activities, for this the entire government and the party are committed. The anti-social elements will not be spared at any cost.
