Mohali-Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh, in association with the Red Ribbon Club, Youth Services Department, Punjab, today organized a series of activities to mark World AIDS Day (Celebrated worldwide on 1st Dec) under the theme “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response.”
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman Aryans Group appreciated the efforts of the Youth Services Department, Punjab for their continuous support in such social initiatives and encouraged students to stay informed and spread awareness to build a healthier society.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments. The activities included Poster Making, a powerful Skit highlighting myths and facts about Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/ Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), and an Awareness Drive conducted within the campus to educate peers about prevention, stigma reduction, and responsible health practices.
Students participated in poster presentations and a thought-provoking skit emphasizing compassion and accurate knowledge about HIV/AIDS. The event concluded with a pledge by students and staff to promote empathy, awareness, and preventive healthcare in the community.
