Bhagwant Mann Reduces Punjab to a Satellite Unit of Delhi: Jhinjer

Chandigarh:Youth Akali Dal President Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer today condemned the Aam Aadmi Party government for once again handing another key post in Punjab to a Delhi-based leader, after Jitender Singh Shunty was appointed as a Member of the Punjab Human Rights Commission.
Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer said this repeated pattern exposes how CM Bhagwant Mann has willingly surrendered Punjab’s authority to Delhi. He said that, behind the scenes, Arvind Kejriwal is quietly taking control of all major offices in Punjab, reducing Bhagwant Mann to a helpless spectator in his own state.

Jhinjer questioned why a state like Punjab—rich in talent, experience, and capable individuals—continues to be ignored in favour of outsiders imported from Delhi. “Every time a key post becomes vacant, Bhagwant Mann rushes to please his Delhi Akas. This blind appeasement is pushing him deeper into political irrelevance,” he said.

In a sharp closing remark, Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer stated, “Punjab will not tolerate remote-control governance from Delhi. Our institutions belong to Punjabis, not to hand-picked outsiders.
