World Gatka Federation appoints Gurinder Singh Khalsa as Chairman of Gatka Federation USA

Chandigarh: Aiming to promote the Gatka sport in the United States the World Gatka Federation has appointed S. Gurinder Singh Khalsa, a well-known community leader, entrepreneur, and public speaker, as the Chairman of Gatka Federation USA.

Harjeet Singh Grewal, President, and Dr. Deep Singh, General Secretary of World Gatka Federation (WGF), extended their heartiest congratulations to Khalsa and presented him with an appointment letter at Fishers in Indiana.

As the Chairman of the Gatka Federation USA, Khalsa has been entrusted by WGF to promote and expand the practice of Gatka nationwide. His responsibilities include establishing Gatka units in the USA, coordinating with Gatka enthusiasts/Akharas, organizing meetings and events in the country, and representing the Gatka Federation USA during Gatka competitions and events.

Welcoming Gurinder Singh Khalsa to his new role, who also serves as the Chairman of the Sikhs Political Action Committee in the USA, Gatka promoters Harjeet Grewal and Dr. Deep Singh expressed their hope that Khalsa’s dedication, passion, and enthusiasm for promoting the age old Gatka game would play a vital role in achieving the global objectives set forth by the Gatka Federation USA and the WGF.

Thanking the WGF fountainheads for his nomination to the prestigious national responsibility, S. Gurinder Singh Khalsa assured them that he would further support and promote the martial art Gatka as a sport in the America.
