Manjot, Navjot and Amanjot Bhatti Arrested in Brampton Tow-Truck Shooting; One Suspect Still Outstanding

Bramton(Canada)Peel Regional Police have arrested three Caledon men in connection with a tow-truck-related shooting in Brampton, while officers continue searching for one remaining suspect from the second group involved in the incident. The shooting took place on October 7, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m. in a parking lot near McVean Drive and Castlemore Road. According to police, an altercation between two separate groups escalated, leading to gunfire. One individual sustained minor physical injuries during the confrontation.

After an extensive investigation, police identified three individuals linked to one of the groups involved in the dispute. On November 20, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Caledon. During the operation, officers located and arrested the three suspects. The first, 26-year-old Manjot Bhatti, faces multiple firearms-related charges, including intentionally discharging a firearm recklessly, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, careless storage of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm, and being the occupant of a motor vehicle knowing a firearm was present. He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton and was later released on bail.

Two additional suspects, Navjot Bhatti, aged 27, and Amanjot Bhatti, aged 22, were also arrested and charged. Both face the charge of being occupants of a motor vehicle while knowing a firearm was present. Police released both individuals on undertakings with conditions, and they are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Investigators are still working to identify individuals from the opposing group, particularly the outstanding suspect who was captured in an image discharging a firearm during the altercation. The suspect is described as a South Asian male who was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and white running shoes. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously to assist in the ongoing investigation.
