Mehta Chowk – Damdami Taksal Chief and Sant Samaj President Sant Gyani Harnam Singh Khalsa has called a meeting of Sikh organizations on April 27, 2025 to outline the next steps in the struggle for the restoration of Jathedar Singh Sahibs of the arbitrarily removed Takht Sahibs. The event will be held at the headquarters of Damdami Taksal at Gurdwara Gurudarshan Prakash Mehta.In this regard, Damdami Taksal said that in the month of March, after the Jathedars of the three Takht Sahibans were removed from their positions by the Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee in a humiliating manner and disregarding the sectarian principles, the head of Damdami Taksal and the president of Sant Samaj, Saint Giani Harnam Singh Khalsa, with the help of Sant Samaj, Nihang Singh organizations, Sikh sects and other sectarian personalities. The struggle for the restoration of the Singh Sahibans had started. After which, on March 28, 2025, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee was given time till April 15, 2025 to restore the Jathedars of the Takht Sahibs in a huge fury protest held at the Shiromani Committee’s head office, Shri Teja Singh Samundri Hall, Shri Amritsar Sahib.
After the completion of which, an important meeting of Sant Samaj, Nihang Singh Organizations, Chief Khalsa Diwan, Sikh sects, prominent sect personalities, Sikh Student Federation and other organizations and their representatives has been called on Sunday 27th April at 11 am at the headquarters of Damdami Taksal Gurdwara Gurdarshan Prakash Mehta. Giving information in this regard, Sant Gyani Harnam Singh Khalsa said that after discussions with all the personalities gathered on April 27, any further decision will be taken with the cooperation of all. He appealed to all cult followers to reach the meeting on time.
