Glasgow (Mandeep Khurmi Himmatpura)The cruel politics divided Punjab into two parts in 1947, which today we call Chhadde Punjab and Dekhde Punjab. Of course, politics has shown its cruel face, but people of Punjab still breathe each other, want to see each other, want to be each other’s guests. The International Punjabi Conference was organized for the second time by the Punjabis living in Pakistan. In which Punjabi scholars, writers, film artists from all over the world participated. A delegation from British soil also arrived in this second International Punjabi Conference. Happily, among them, Mohanjit Basra alias Mohni Basra, who is seen as a TV presenter, film actress and conducting on various platforms on the soil of England, was specially honored. Under the leadership of Ahmed Raza Punjabi and colleagues, he was awarded with a special award. Talking to this representative, Mohni Basra said that Punjabis living in Pakistan are very hearty, their hospitality has stolen their hearts. The warmth, love and affection that he bestowed on everyone by sitting on the eyelids of his eyes, will not be forgotten till the end of the world.
