Preet Kaur Gill MP Welcomes Major Business Support Reforms for West Midlands Entrepreneurs

Edgbaston, UK – Preet Kaur Gill, Member of Parliament for Birmingham Edgbaston, has welcomed the announcement by West Midlands Mayor Richard Parker regarding sweeping reforms to local business support services, aimed at fueling growth and innovation across the region.

The new strategy will streamline support for entrepreneurs and focus resources on high-growth sectors such as life sciences, clean energy, and the creative industries. These sectors are seen as natural strengths for Edgbaston, largely due to the presence of the University of Birmingham and the expanding Health Innovation Campus.

Calling the reforms a “significant opportunity” for local business development, Gill emphasized her commitment to working hand-in-hand with entrepreneurs and small business owners in her constituency.

“This new approach aligns perfectly with Edgbaston’s assets and potential,” said Gill. “I’ll be working closely with local businesses to ensure they are aware of these opportunities and can take full advantage of them.”

Gill also encouraged aspiring business owners and start-ups to reach out to her office for guidance and support, reaffirming her focus on empowering local enterprise and job creation in the region.
