Bathinda-Youth Akali Dal President and Shiromani Akali Dal Core Committee Member, Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer, convened a special meeting of Youth Akali Dal leaders from Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency in preparation for the upcoming Vaisakhi Salana Conference to be held at Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib on 13th April.
The meeting witnessed the participation of senior youth leaders from Bathinda and adjoining districts. Key responsibilities were assigned to the youth cadre to ensure strong mobilization and smooth coordination for this historic gathering.
Emphasizing the pivotal role of the youth, Jhinjer said, “Youth leaders will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful Vaisakhi Conference of Shiromani Akali Dal. This is not just a gathering—it is a movement to preserve our roots, uphold our culture, and shape a better future.”
He added, “This conference is even more significant as the party is set to elect its new president on 12th April at Teja Singh Samundri Hall, Amritsar.”
Highlighting the mission of Youth Akali Dal, Jhinjer remarked, “Our aim is to energize the organization at the grassroots and reaffirm our commitment to Punjab, Punjabi, and Punjabiyat. The Vaisakhi Conference will reflect that unwavering spirit.”
Taking a strong stand against the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, Jhinjer said, “The AAP government has betrayed the youth. Instead of focusing on education and employment, they have prioritized PR gimmicks. The recent misuse of teachers for propaganda is disgraceful and deeply insulting.”
He further stated, “These Delhi-led parties have pushed Punjab towards decline. But the Shiromani Akali Dal, Punjab’s own party, will lead the way to restore the golden era of our beloved state.”
Concluding the meeting, Jhinjer urged the youth to take ownership of the state’s future and participate actively in the Vaisakhi Conference to strengthen the voice of Punjab.
