Shiromani Akali Dal President Has Always Been Elected at Teja Singh Samundri Hall for the Past 105 Years: Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer

Bathinda-Youth Akali Dal President and Shiromani Akali Dal Core Committee Member Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer, while addressing a press conference today, launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. He said the complaint filed with the Election Commission is nothing more than a desperate attempt by the Congress Party to prevent the Akali Dal from making a strong political comeback.
Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer asserted that this complaint only proves one thing — the Congress is deeply afraid of the growing strength of the Shiromani Akali Dal.
He alleged that under the directions of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Punjab Congress is working on a calculated strategy to weaken the Akali Dal. “But let it be clear — we will never allow this conspiracy to succeed,” he said.
Firing a fresh salvo at the opposition, Jhinjer added, “The Congress Party has made repeated attempts to wipe out the Akali Dal, but every single time, they have failed miserably. Sukhjinder Randhawa is now trying to mislead the people of Punjab with similar tactics — but we will not let him succeed.”
On the issue of the party president’s election, Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer clarified that Teja Singh Samundri Hall — part of the administrative block of Sri Darbar Sahib — has historically been the traditional venue for electing the President of Shiromani Akali Dal for over a century. “The Akali Dal has already obtained prior permission for holding the meeting there. Congress must stop making absurd and baseless allegations against our party,” he concluded.
