Hazara(Jalandhar)The commencement of the new session of the school, the school’s silver jubilee and the Khalsa Creation Day were celebrated with great enthusiasm by the management, all the staff and the children under the auspices of the blessed Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji at Guru Tegh Bahadur Public School, Hazara. The function was inaugurated with the recitation of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the children of the school performed a very interesting kirtan. The young children chanted the ‘Mool Mantra’. The children of the school sang the words ‘Main Hoon Param Purakh Ko Data’, ‘Rehat Pyari Mujh Ko’, ‘Shahi Shahenshah’, ‘Das To Na De Sake’, ‘Uch Da Pir’. Apart from this, the children gave lectures on the importance of Khalsa Creation Day in Punjabi and English. A large number of parents and other dignitaries from all over the area attended the event and encouraged the children. On this occasion, the living martyr Sant Baba Nihal Singh Ji, Jathedar, Misal Shaheed Tarna Dal Harian Velan Ji Wale was present in a dignified manner.
He praised the performance of the children and appealed to the parents of the children to join the effort to connect their children with the Sikh faith. On this occasion, the school director Mrs. Nisha Mariya and principal Mrs. Amital Kaur gave information about the achievements of the school and made the children aware of the importance of Baisakhi and Khalsa Sajna Diwas. They also said that with such events, our children remain connected to their heritage and religion and the moral values of the children increase. Various activities are organized from time to time in the school for the all-round development of the children.
On this occasion, School Secretary Sardar Surjit Singh Cheema Ji thanked the great personality of the Sikh Panth, Singh Sahib Baba Nihal Singh Ji Harian Velan Wale and the dignitaries, parents of the children and the residents of the area and congratulated the school on its Silver Jubilee and Khalsa Sajna Diwas.
