Brahmpura stated,
> “The tragedy witnessed in Majitha today prevails equally here in Khadoor Sahib and neighboring border constituencies. The scourge of drugs continues to erode our youth like a termite, while the government turns a blind eye.”
He voiced serious concerns regarding Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s administration, adding,
> “We have repeatedly informed the Chief Minister about the alarming situation in Khadoor Sahib and adjacent border areas, particularly given the sensitive India-Pakistan border context. The AAP government’s administration, however, has not only lacked sincerity but has also demonstrated an utter inability to implement robust border security and drug prevention measures.”
Brahmpura further described the AAP government’s so-called “anti-drug campaign” as nothing more than “empty theatrics and propaganda,” and continued,
> “This campaign has utterly failed. This is not an isolated incident; the AAP government has been incompetent on all fronts. While similar tragedies did occur during preceding Congress regimes, the AAP administration has taken Punjab’s downfall to unprecedented depths. Their leadership has pushed Punjab to the brink and devastated the state.”
He went on to add,
> “The Chief Minister is merely a puppet; the real masterminds sit elsewhere, in Delhi. Those defeated in Delhi now seek to exploit Punjab. What we are witnessing is not accidental; these are deliberate murders, for which the AAP leadership is solely liable. This is a colossal administrative failure. We demand the immediate removal of all responsible officials, the resignation of the Excise Minister, and urgent compensation of Rs 25 lakh for each bereaved family.”
Reiterating his demand for justice, Brahmpura insisted,
> “To bring the truth to light and account for the countless victims of spurious liquor and drugs across Punjab, the central government must immediately order an inquiry by an independent, high-level agency such as the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) or the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Only then can the real perpetrators of these heinous crimes be brought to justice.”
Brahmpura accused the AAP government of perpetually seeking media publicity to distract the public from pressing issues, stating that the people of Punjab would no longer be misled.
> “The Shiromani Akali Dal shall continue to amplify the voice of Punjab’s people and expose the anti-people policies of the AAP government, ensuring the world learns of Punjab’s true predicament.”
At this moment, Brahmpura was joined by several notable local personalities, including Dayal Singh (Sarpanch, Tur), Gurdial Singh (President and former Sarpanch), Nirmal Singh (Panchayat Member), Dr. Sukhdev Singh, and others. All present expressed grave concern over the issues raised and echoed Brahmpura’s sentiments.
