NAPA Strongly Condemns Attack on Sikh Man in Muktsar; Demands Immediate Arrest of Perpetrators

The North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) strongly condemns the shameful and cowardly attack on a lone Sikh individual reportedly beaten and harassed by Shiv Sena workers in Muktsar, Punjab. This disgraceful act is not only an attack on an innocent citizen but also a direct assault on the values of secularism, communal harmony, and human dignity that our society must uphold.

It is extremely disturbing that such incidents continue to occur in broad daylight while law enforcement appears to be either indifferent or inactive. NAPA demands the immediate arrest of all those responsible for this brutal and targeted act. Justice must be delivered swiftly and without political pressure.

We urge the Punjab Government and law enforcement agencies to treat this case with the utmost seriousness, ensure the safety of minority communities, and take concrete action against those who spread hate and violence under the guise of political allegiance.

NAPA also appeals to all peace-loving citizens of Punjab and India to stand united against such divisive elements and uphold the spirit of brotherhood and equality.
