Ludhiana West Vote to Serve as Referendum on AAP’s Failed Promises – Brahmpura

Tarn Taran- Ravinder Singh Brahmpura, Vice President of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), former MLA and In-charge of the Khadoor Sahib constituency, emphasized today while talking to media representatives in Chohla Sahib that the upcoming Ludhiana West by-election is a pivotal moment for Punjab, where voters will decisively reject the deceit and exploitation of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Brahmpura stated, “The sight of the Delhi leadership camping in Ludhiana is not a show of strength; it is a clear sign of desperation as they scramble to maintain their dwindling support across Punjab. This is a party on the brink, trying to hold onto its last bastion.”
He continued, “The political reality is changing. Even those who opposed us are recognizing that only the Shiromani Akali Dal can safeguard the future of Punjab. Our experienced leadership is urgently needed to uphold communal harmony and restore law and order.”
Providing a stark critique of the AAP government’s tenure, Brahmpura asserted, “The Aam Aadmi Party’s defeat is inevitable, and their failures are glaringly obvious. They have dishonored Punjab by selling Rajya Sabha seats to outsiders for profit. They have allowed a culture of fear to pervade our streets, leaving traders and everyday citizens feeling unsafe. Their hollow promises to tackle the drug crisis have only exacerbated the plight of our youth.”
He added, “Ludhiana, as the economic heartbeat of Punjab, reflects the sentiments of its traders and astute voters. When they distance themselves from AAP, it signifies not just an electoral loss but a powerful mandate against a party that has consistently acted against the interests of Punjab. The so-called ‘change’ that has brought disaster is no longer tolerable.”
Looking forward, Brahmpura said, “The dark chapter of AAP’s misgovernance is nearing its end. The people of Punjab are ready to rise above the despair. The results from Ludhiana will signal the dawn of a new era, one where the Shiromani Akali Dal’s vision for development and progress will guide Punjab toward a prosperous future.”
Among those present alongside Brahmpura were Former Sarpanch Amrik Singh, Social Worker Dilbar Singh, Avtar Singh Raymond, Harbans Singh Fauji, Dr. Jatinder Singh, Gurdev Singh, Balbir Singh Balli, and Kurinder Singh. -END-
