Gunman of Sidhu Moosewala’s uncle shot dead; post-mortem examination underway

Hardeep Singh, the gunman of the late Sidhu Moosewala’s uncle Chamkaur Singh got accidentally shot from his weapon, post-mortem examination of the body is underway.
On Monday, 11th November, a gunman named Hardeep Singh, who was assigned for the security of Chamkaur Singh, died after an accidental gunshot. Chamkaur Singh is the uncle of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. The police have taken the body into custody and the post-mortem examination of the body is underway. Following the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, the government had provided security to his whole family. Hardeep Singh, who was an ex-serviceman with the Punjab Police, was appointed as a guard of Moosewala’s uncle, Chamkaur Singh.

This tragic incident occurred around 2.30 am when Hardeep Singh was returning to his home after attending a wedding. While he was cleaning his licensed pistol, an accidental discharge occurred and Hardeep Singh died on the spot after getting shot in the head. The Mansa DSP confirmed this incident and said that Hardeep Singh had been assigned to Chamkaur Singh’s security after retiring from the Punjab Police. The DSP said, “Preliminary reports indicate he died from a gunshot wound, but a thorough investigation is underway to determine how the incident unfolded.”Sidhu Moose Wala was an Indian singer and rapper. He had worked majorly in Punjabi-language music and cinema. He is considered to be one of the most influential and successful Punjabi rappers of all time. He was shot dead by unidentified assailants on 29th May 2022 by a Canada-based gangster named Goldy Brar, who is a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He has claimed responsibility for the killing. The police said that it was the culmination of an inter-gang rivalry.
