Chandigarh ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Youth Congress president Mohit Mohindra today held Prime Minister Narender Modi responsible for inhuman treatment meted out to youth of Punjab and other states deported by US. Addressing a press conference after the state executive meeting here at Congress Bhawan, Mohindra Said that Modi was holding one to one talks with US president Donald Trump when US army planes dumped the youth shackled in chains in Amritsar. Foreign policy of BJP government is a total failure, he added. He strongly objected to choosing Amritsar airport for deportations. He said that Center was working in policy of defaming Punjab. He said Youth Congres see a deep rooted conspiracy behind targeting Punjab. Mohindra blamed AAP government in Punjab for allowing drug menace to continue. He said that Indian Youth congress had started a programme ‘Nashe Nahin, Rozgar Do’ under the command of IYC president Uday Bhanu Chib. He said that Bhagwant Mann government was issuing fake advertisements in claims of giving employment. AAP had promised to give 25 lakh jobs. Where are the jobs?, he asked CM. Mohindra further ssid that AAP had made several false promises with people of Punjab including opening 10 medical colleges. He said that people of Punjab would give a befitting reply to AAP in 2027 assembly elections. Mohindra asked the state executive members to expose the falsehood of AAP government. He said Congress would make a big comeback in 2027.
