AAP’s Betrayal of Punjab Farmers: Tarun Chugh Slams Bhagwant Mann for Broken Promises

Chandigarh: Bharatiya Janata Party’s National General Secretary Tarun Chugh took Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to task for failing to fulfill the promises made to the farmers of Punjab. Chugh questioned Mann about the TOP-UP on MSP for six crops that was promised by the AAP government, asking why it has not been implemented yet. He also asked where the modern high-yielding seeds promised to Punjab’s farmers were.

Chugh slammed the AAP government for betraying farmers by not fulfilling its promise of loan waivers even after 36 months in power. He said that the farmers of Punjab are still waiting, wondering when the promises will be honored.

How long will Punjab bear the burden of Kejriwal’s extravagance? Chugh accused Arvind Kejriwal of deceiving the people of Delhi and now plotting to loot the innocent Punjabis through his controversial liquor policy. He alleged that the AAP government’s policies were designed to exploit Punjab rather than serve its people.

Before launching an anti-drug campaign, all AAP MLAs and the Chief Minister must undergo a narcotics test! Chugh questioned why it took the AAP government three years to wake up and start an anti-drugs campaign. He demanded that Bhagwant Mann and all AAP MLAs should first undergo a narcotics test to ensure that those leading the fight against drugs are not part of the problem themselves.

Chugh concluded by stating that AAP’s time in Punjab is up, and the farmers are still waiting for the day when the government will finally fulfill its long-forgotten promises.
