Timeless Melodies organised by Sur Sadhna, Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi in association with Aryans Group

Mohali-In a collaborative effort of Swar Sadhana and the Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi in association with Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura,  Near Chandigarh, a soulful musical program themed on the songs of Sawan (monsoon) was organized at the prestigious Tagore Theatre. This special event, held on 26th July – Kargil Vijay Diwas, was dedicated to the martyrs of the nation.

The moderator of the event was Mr. Vikrant Seth (Vice President) Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi, From Aryans Group of Colleges Dr. Garima Thakur, Deputy Director was present and was Honored in the event. The event was supported by Organic Sharing, The Hills Kasauli, Waltz Furniture, Malik Jewelers, Adv. Rajeev Sharma. The program was hosted by Pandit Vinod Pawar.

Distinguished guests included Sudesh Sharma (President, Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi), Rajesh Atri (Secretary), Architect Shikha Verma, Shivani Verma, Advocate Rajeev Sharma, Dr. Amit Gangani, along with numerous eminent citizens and esteemed artists of the city were present.

The program began with Jaspreet Kaur’s rendition of “Sawan ke jhoole pade”. This was followed by Akash Pundir’s performance of “Aaj mausam bada beimaan hai”, Shivani Angrez’s “Nainon mein badra chhaye”, and a duet by Atul and Priyanka “Chha gayi ghata, baahar aa ri hai duty”.

Further adding emotion to the evening, Aarti presented “Kajrare badra”, Jannat sang “Jade karein saawan ki baatein”, and Khushi performed “Ae hawa ae ghata, kya tujhe hai pata”. Jaspreet Kaur also sang “Haay haay ye majboori, ye mausam aur ye doori”, followed by Atul and Priyanka’s touching duet “Megha re megha re”.

The event concluded with a soulful violin accompaniment by Aarekh, who joined Akash in two stirring performances – “Jeena yahan marna yahan” and “Ek pyaar ka nagma hai”, leaving the audience deeply moved.
