Chowk Mehta/Amritsar- Gyani Harnam Singh Khalsa, head of Damdami Mint and president of Sant Samaj, said that there is great enthusiasm in the sect for the program that has been made to reach the head office of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Sri Amritsar on March 28 to cancel the new appointment of Jathedars of Takhts and restore the old Jathedars. He said that this decision is final and no change can be made in the program prepared during the Panthak Samagam at Sri Anandpur Sahib. He appealed to the Sikh Sangat to gather in a convoy of vehicles and cars from all corners of Punjab, wave the Kesari Nishan Sahib and join the massive sectarian protest by reaching the Golden Gate of Sri Amritsar Sahib before 11 am. He said that from there at 12 o’clock Sant Samaj, Nihang Singh organizations will reach Shiromani Committee office Teja Singh Samudri Hall in the form of a convoy but in a peaceful manner. Where the members of the Shiromani Committee who came to participate in the budget session will be forced to raise a voice in one voice to change the wrong and anti-Pant decision taken by the internal committee regarding the Jathedars and restore the arbitrarily removed Jathedars. He said that for the participation and convenience of the devotees, the duty of lions from different areas has been put on duty. He said that a respectful process should be developed for the appointment, retirement or departure of Singh sahibans. The demand for which will be placed before the Shiromani Committee. He said that devotees from Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and Maharashtra are also ready to reach Amritsar by their own means. But there should be special participation of Sangat of Amritsar and he appealed to the Sangat of the city to respect the Sangat coming from outside Punjab. He said that our program will be completely peaceful. He also appealed to Nihang Singh organizations, Sant Samaj, Khalsa Diwan, Sikh organizations, Sikh federations and managing committees of Gurdwaras to actively participate in it.
In Himachal action should be taken against the elements insulting the pictures of Nishan Sahib and Saint Bhindranwale:-
Sant Gyani Harnam Singh Ji Khalsa has strongly criticized the Himachal Police and the government for insulting the flags with the picture of Nishan Sahib and Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale and threatening the youth of Punjab who go to religious places.
He said that instead of taking legal action against the local residents and police officials who harassed the Sikh youths, the Himachal government has done a great job of harassing the youths of Punjab by filing cases. Which I strongly condemn and urge the Himachal government not to try to create such an atmosphere. Every citizen in the country has the right to equality. The remaining saint, Baba Jarnail Singh Ji was a religious man of Khalsa Bhindranwale Sikh community. He fought for the rights of Sikhs and Punjab. Secondly, he always respected every religion. He also respected Hinduism and Islam. Some people are spreading hateful and false propaganda against his personality. Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib has become a sacred memorial of this personality and a Guru place, where every creature goes and pays homage. He is always universally accepted by Sikhs and every Sikh bows before his sacrifice.
He advised the Himachal government not to worsen the situation. He said that the neighboring states of Himachal, Haryana and Rajasthan have deep ties with Punjab. Where Guru’s Sikhs go to visit religious places or sometimes go for a walk in the mountains. They should be allowed to move without hindrance. Advising the people of Himachal to stay away from such acts, he said that there is great anger in the Sikh community. I want to say to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh that the officials who registered the cases against the Sikh and Punjabi youth should be dismissed immediately. I also appeal to the Chief Minister of Punjab to talk to the Chief Minister of Himachal, not only to provide police for the security of vehicles in Himachal.
