Under AAP, bullets hitting every Punjabi doorstep: Chugh

Chandigarh-BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh said that violence and bullets have reached every Punjabi doorstep under the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, which is functioning at the behest of Arvind Kejriwal. He said Bhagwant Mann has been reduced to a puppet Chief Minister, incapable of protecting the state and its people.

Chugh said that all political parties must come forward to protect the border state of Punjab from the dangerous designs of anti-national forces and criminal networks that are flourishing under the present regime.

He said that even during the peak years of separatism and militancy, the people of Punjab were not as frightened and terrorised as they are today under the misrule of the Bhagwant Mann government. Every section of society is living in an atmosphere of fear and insecurity.

Chugh said the situation is extremely alarming, as Punjab is rapidly turning into a state of blood and bullets, where gangsters and mafias roam fearlessly and rule openly with gunfire. He alleged that the AAP government is deeply involved with mafias and is indulging in corrupt and criminal activities.

He said the Mann government has completely failed in its responsibility to ensure public safety and good governance. The government is only focused on pleasing its political master Arvind Kejriwal and a nexus of loot and corruption, while the people of Punjab are crying for help and the state is being pushed towards chaos and anarchy.

Chugh said Punjab’s governance has totally collapsed, both economically and administratively. The situation has deteriorated to such an extent that youth, traders, industrialists, women, and even farmers feel unsafe and terrorised in their own state.

He said throttling the voice of the media by registering FIRs against journalists and intimidating those who raise questions clearly exposes the panic and failure of the Bhagwant Mann government.
