Wave of joy in the Punjabi community living abroad when Dr. Amarpal Singh took charge of PSEB Chairman

Washington D.C – There was a wave of joy in the Punjabi community living abroad when Dr. Amarpal Singh, a retired IAS officer (2008 batch) and former PCS officer (1993 batch), officially took charge as the Chairman of the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). Various religious and social organizations of the Punjabi community thanked the Punjab government for the appointment of Dr. Amarpal Singh. They expressed hope that now there will be a lot of improvement in the education department of Punjab. I’d like to point out that Dr. Amarpal Singh is a resident of Nabha, Patiala.  He belongs to a famous family of teachers and public servants.
His Father, Dr. Bachittar Singh served as the Director of Integrated Services, Punjab, while his mother, Jaswant Kaur, was a state award-winning principal in the Punjab Education Department. Dr. Singh has held several important positions in the Punjab Government and the UT. He also organized several successful NRI Samelans in Punjab. That is why he is a very respectful person in the hearts of Punjabi Diaspora
