India mourns the loss of Valmik Thapar, a dedicated tiger conserv away at 73. For over five decades, he passionately studied and  particularly in Ranthambore National Park. Thapar’s work included Ranthambhore Foundation, authoring numerous books and docum advocating for stricter anti-poaching measures, leaving behind a commitment to wildlife preservation.
In a world increasingly disconnected from nature, Valmrare voice who spent his life listening to the wild. Pass and deeply committed, he gave the tiger not just his tim pen, and camera. On Saturday morning, India lost one fiercest wildlife guardians as Thapar passed away in 73.
Born in New Delhi, Thapar dedicated over five decade protecting wild tigers, especially those in Rajasthan’s R National Park. According to PTI, he was mentored by legendary Fateh Singh Rathore, and Thapar became of India’s tiger conservation movement. He co-founded the Ranthambhore Foundation in 1988 and served  government committees, including the National Board the Tiger Task Force.
