Canadian Investigative Agencies Ruled out Indian Diplomats Involvement in Hardeep Nijjar’s Murder

Chandigarh: The Canadian Investigative Agencies have formally ruled out any involvement of the Indian High Commission or its diplomats in the murder case of  Hardeep Nijhar. After an extensive inquiry, no concrete evidence linking the Indian diplomatic mission to the incident has been found. Instead, investigators suggest that the murder appears to be a result of mutual enmity.

The development comes amid concerns over the safety of Indian diplomats in Canada following threats from unidentified terrorists. In response to the security threat, the security detail assigned to the Indian diplomat in Canada has been bolstered, reinforcing measures to ensure his safety.

Sanjay Kumar Verma, the Indian High Commissioner in Canada, has expressed satisfaction with the heightened security arrangements, indicating a commitment to safeguarding the well-being of Indian diplomats overseas.
