Punjab Schools Adjust Timings for Winter Season, Classes to Commence at 8:30 am

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar: In Anticipation of the approaching winter season, school timings for educational institutions across Punjab are set to undergo alterations. The modification in timings is a routine practice that takes effect each year with the advent of winter. Commencing from October 1, all primary schools in the state will adjust their schedules, starting from 8:30 am and concluding at 2:30 pm.

Furthermore, middle, high, and senior secondary schools will also modify their timings, commencing at 8:30 am and concluding at 2:50 pm. This adjustment is scheduled, taking in view the changing weather conditions and this aims to prioritizing the comfort and safety of students and staff.
