Bhagwant Mann, Kejriwal campaign for AAP candidates in Chhattisgarh

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday campaigned in favor of Aam Aadmi Party candidates for the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. Both the leaders along with the AAP candidate held road shows in Akaltara assembly constituency and appealed to the people to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party.

Addressing the people during the road show, Bhagwant Mann said that Chhattisgarh does not need the double engine of BJP but the new engine of Kejriwal.

He said that the way we have worked in Delhi and Punjab under the guidance of Arvind Kejriwal, we will work in the same way here too when the government is formed.

Here also people will be given free electricity. We will build mohalla clinics for free treatment and build good government schools for the quality education of your children.

He said that Kejriwal’s guarantee is not a jumla like BJP’s. We deliver what we promise. Whatever promises we made in Delhi and Punjab are fulfilled. Today, more than 90 percent of the houses in Punjab get zero electricity bills. Whereas BJP only told jumlas for the last 9 years.

Mann said that in the last one and a half year, we have opened about 700 mohalla clinics in Punjab in which more than sixty lakh people have been treated so far. We are building ‘Schools of Eminence’ in Punjab.

At the same time, we have given more than 37000 government jobs to the youth and now farmers get the payments of their crops within 24 hours.

Attacking BJP, Mann said that Arvind Kejriwal first wiped out BJP in Delhi and Punjab, now we will wipe out BJP in Chhattisgarh also. He said that wherever Kejriwal goes, the BJP gets wiped out, hence the BJP government is trying to put him in jail. But we are not afraid of the BJP. We are people who came out of a movement. We are not afraid of jails.
