NRIs eager to make substantial investments in Punjab

Chamrod Pattan (Pathankot):The Punjab government on Friday organised an NRI meeting at Chamrod Pattan, during which the NRIs appreciated the concerted efforts being made to attract investments to the state.Dalwinder Singh of Tanda, residing in France for the past 28 years, expressed his desire to establish a university in Tanda. He noted that the state government, led by Bhagwant Singh Mann, has transformed Punjab, instilling hope that the reverse migration trend in Punjab has begun. He extended gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, acknowledging his efforts that have benefited NRIs and strengthened trust in the government. He said that NRIs are actively contributing to the development of their villages and assured fulsome support to the state government.

 

Sewa Singh from Mukerian, now residing in New York, USA, appreciated the Punjab government’s dedicated efforts towards NRIs. He said that his children, settled abroad, frequently visit Punjab and appreciate the initiatives take by the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann as it keenly works on the various issues related to NRIs.Satwinder Singh Sagu, a London resident originally from Jalandhar, attended the event to extend gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Sagu said that a conducive environment has been created by the government for NRIs, expressing a personal interest in investing Rs 50 crore in Punjab.

 

Likewise, Harish Das from Phagwara, currently residing in London, expressed that Punjab is an excellent investment destination and urged all NRIs settled abroad to consider investing there. He said that NRIs are now keen on investing in Punjab, as the state government has demonstrated strong support for NRIs.Similarly, Joginder Sandhu, a resident of France originally from Hoshiarpur, praised the unique initiative of the Punjab government with the NRI meeting. He said expressed confidence in the Punjab government led by CM Mann that all the concerns of NRIs will be addressed in a timely manner.

Dr. Harminder Singh, a resident of Nihalpur village in Dasuha sub-division of Hoshiarpur, now based in California, attended the NRI meet for the first time. He said that every NRI remains connected to their roots and stands in solidarity with the government for Punjab’s prosperity. He expressed intrest to invest substantially in Punjab.

Gurwinder Singh, originally from Ajnala and now settled in Canada, expressed gratitude to the government during the NRI meeting. While acknowledging the government’s support, he brought forth his concerns and said that he is now confident that the government will find swift resolution of his grievances.

Dr. Rajesh Kalia from Amritsar Sahib, residing in Canada, attended the NRI meet for the first time, and said that people have not strong faith in the Punjab government since Bhagwant Singh Mann assumed power, not only among the people in Punjab but also among Punjabis settled abroad.

Kulwinder Singh, living in France for 16 years, praised Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s positive approach, said that there has been a reverse migration trend for the first time due to concrete efforts of the government. He expressed the desire to settle back in Punjab, crediting CM Bhagwant Singh Mann for this positive shift and pro-people policies initiated taken by the Punjab government.
