Coach Devi Dayal Award will be given to former Kabaddi star Manjit Singh Mohla Khadur

Ludhiana —-The 36th Modern Rural Mini Olympics Jarkhar Games are being held on February 10 and 11 at the Mata Sahib Kaur Sports Stadium Jarkhar built at a cost of 6 crores. Five personalities from the world of sports and education will be honored during the final ceremony of the Jarkhar Games.
Chairman of Jarkhar Games Narinderpal Singh Sidhu, Chief Organizer Jagrup Singh Jarkhar, Manmohan Grewal Mohana Jodha Seattle, Principal Advocate Harkamal Singh informed that the opening ceremony of the Games will be very grand and the final ceremony of the Games on February 11 where the finals of various games will be held. Competitions will be the main center, while the open arena of eminent folk singer Harjit Harman will also be a special attraction for the audience. On this occasion, 6 prominent personalities will be honored. In which the former Kabaddi star player Manjit Singh Mohla Khadur will be given the award in memory of late former international Kabaddi player Coach Devi Dayal. In which there will be a prize money of 50,000 rupees and Devi Dayal Award, while the award in the field of education will be given to the Head Master of Jarkhar School, Bibi Surinder Kaur. Sports Promoter Amarjit Grewal Award will be given to eminent sports promoter Gurjit Singh Hakimpur who has made special contribution to sports. Olympian Surjit Singh Randhawa Award will be given to Ropar Hawks hockey father SS Saini Sahib. While the Honor of Journalism Award will be given to Gurjatinder Singh Randhawa, Editor-in-Chief of Punjab Mail USA. Pride of Punjabi Culture Award will be given to eminent folk singer Harjit Harman.
In Modern Rural Mini Olympics Jarkhar games hockey boys, girls hockey under 15 years boys, primary school kabaddi competition, high school tug-of-war and public school games apart from the Kabaddi Open Cup will be dedicated to the memory of Naib Singh Grewal Jodha while the wrestling competition will be Singh Mandore and volleyball competitions will be held in memory of Amarjit Singh Grewal.
