Chandigarh-Sukhpal Singh Khaira has launched a sharp attack on the ruling Aam Aadmi Party leadership after Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids allegedly linked to people close to Punjab AAP president Aman Arora.According to posts shared by the “Sukhpal Singh Khaira FansClub,” Khaira alleged that the name of Aman Arora surfaced during ED raids conducted in Punjab and Chandigarh. The raids were reportedly carried out at properties connected to builder Gaurav Dhir of M/s Dhir Construction, who has been described as a close associate of Aman Arora.

Khaira claimed that the ED investigation revolves around an alleged property transaction in which a project purchased for approximately Rs 300 crore was allegedly shown on paper at only Rs 130 crore. He alleged that this resulted in an undervaluation of nearly Rs 170 crore, which he termed a major financial fraud.

The Congress MLA further alleged that two brokers, identified as Nitin and Pritpal Singh Dhindsa, were also included in the ED raids. According to Khaira, they allegedly played a role in arranging political patronage and were reportedly being linked in media reports to individuals close to the Chief Minister’s Office.

Khaira also highlighted reports claiming that around Rs 1 crore in cash was recovered during the raids. He further referred to allegations that nearly Rs 21 lakh was allegedly thrown from a balcony during the operation. Using the issue to target the Punjab government, Khaira sarcastically questioned the “honesty” claims repeatedly made by the ruling AAP leadership.

In his statement, Khaira criticized Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, saying that despite such serious allegations emerging, the government continued to deny any connection to the matter. He also urged people to read and circulate the ED press note, claiming that it contained several more revelations related to the investigation.

The ED has not publicly announced any charges against Aman Arora in connection with the matter so far, and further investigation is reportedly ongoing.
