AMRITSAR — Projecting a strong sense of collective leadership and unity ahead of upcoming political challenges, newly appointed Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) President Pargat Singh and Congress General Secretary in-charge of Punjab Sachin Pilot were greeted by a large gathering of party leaders and supporters at the Sri Guru Ram Das International Airport.
Accompanied by traditional drumbeats and a formidable turnout of regional heavyweights, the leadership’s arrival marked an important display of solidarity as the state unit enters a fresh organizational phase.The delegation’s itinerary in the holy city drew a broad spectrum of senior state leaders, reflecting a concerted effort to bridge factional lines. The leaders proceeded directly from the airport to pay obeisance and offer shukrana (thanksgiving) at Sri Darbar Sahib, followed by visits to Sri Durgiana Mandir, St. Paul’s Church, and Ram Tirath Temple to emphasize an inclusive outreach across communities.
