“Poison is Being Sold in Shops Decorated in the Name of Khalistan” – Prof. Sarchand Singh Khiala

Amritsar– Prof. Sarchand Singh Khiala, Spokesperson of BJP Punjab, has strongly condemned the recent firing incident at comedian Kapil Sharma’s restaurant ‘KAP’s Café’ in Surrey, Canada, followed by a video threat issued by SFJ terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. He described this act as “a deep-rooted conspiracy against humanity, Sikh faith, Indian businesses, and not just India but even Canada.”
Prof. Khiala stated,
“Poison is being sold in shops decorated in the name of Khalistan. That’s why hate groups like Pannu’s must not be allowed to turn Canadian soil into a playground for their divisive agenda.”

Prof. Khiala, who has earlier served as the President of the Sikh Students Federation and Spokesperson of Damdami Taksal, said that people like Pannu are rattled by the growing global support and popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Pannu, who is being operated by Pakistan’s ISI, is threatening Indian diaspora by targeting Kapil Sharma – part of a well-crafted Pakistani conspiracy aimed at disrupting Indian investment and business in Canada.
He questioned,
“What authority does Pannu have to comment on Kapil Sharma’s ‘Hindutva’ or to ask him to shut down his business and return to India?”
“He must clarify on what grounds he is spewing separatist venom on foreign soil.”
“Certainly, the overseas Sikh community will not fall prey to such groups.”

He further said,
“Pannu is using the façade of Sikhism and a fake Khalistan to promote violence, division, and hatred abroad. These are shops running in the name of Khalistan, but unfortunately, they are selling poison.”
“This is not a fight between Khalistan and India – this is a battle between terrorism and civilization.”

“By calling Kapil Sharma a ‘Hindutva promoter’, Pannu has not only exposed the depths of his hatred, but also issued a veiled threat to every hardworking Indian who is establishing a name and reputation abroad.”
“This threat is an act of cowardice targeting a nationalist Indian, Indian culture, freedom of expression, and the legacy of Punjabiyat.”

Prof. Khiala warned that
“Pannu’s gang is clearly working to instill fear among famous Indian personalities and Punjabi expatriates in Canada.”
“This is not a personal attack on one man – it is a systematic and violent attempt to sabotage Indian investments, entrepreneurship, employment, and cultural identity in Canada.”

He emphasized that
“A fearful and suspicious atmosphere is being deliberately created around many young entrepreneurs, investors, and Indian-origin professionals launching ventures in technology, restaurants, media, music, and cultural brands in Canada.”

“Kapil Sharma is not just one individual – he is the smiling face of Punjabi humor, culture, and human warmth. The threat issued to him is an attack on our Punjabi identity and the sacred principles of Sikh Dharma.”

Prof. Khiala added,
“What’s even more painful is that this attack was carried out by those who claim to be the torchbearers of Guru Nanak Sahib’s legacy under the guise of Khalistan. But in truth, they are merchants of hate crafting false anti-Hindu and anti-India narratives, betraying the name of Sikhism.”

“If certain individuals bearing Sikh names are associated with crime and violence, it ends up affecting the image of the entire Sikh community.”

“This is just the tip of the iceberg of Pannu gang’s larger conspiracy – much more remains to be exposed. Sadly, local law enforcement agencies have not yet fully grasped the deep nexus between Pannu’s network, fugitive gangsters from India, and other extremist elements.”
