NAPA strongly condemns the ongoing attempt by Indian State Railways Minister Revneet Singh Bittu and his associates to portray the political criticism directed at him by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi as an “insult to the Sikh community.”
NAPA emphasizes that calling Mr. Bittu a ‘traitor’ is a political remark made in the context of his own actions and positions. This is solely an individual matter concerning Mr. Bittu, and there is absolutely no connection to the Sikh community as a whole.
It is deeply unfortunate that certain leaders are trying to drag the entire Sikh community into a personal political dispute for their own self-serving political gains. NAPA believes this is an irresponsible tactic that harms social harmony and misuses community identity for political mileage.
NAPA appeals to all political leaders to act responsibly and to stop misrepresenting individual criticism as community insult. The Sikh community’s dignity and values are far greater than any individual’s political controversy.
