MLA and former Minister Pargat Singh Targets Centre Over Rising Inflation, Fuel and LPG Prices

MLA Pargat Singh

Jalandhar: Congress leader and MLA Pargat Singh has criticised the BJP-led Central Government over rising inflation and increasing prices of petrol, diesel, and cooking gas, claiming that the growing cost of living is putting immense pressure on ordinary citizens.

In a post on the social media platform X, Pargat Singh said that skyrocketing fuel and LPG prices have made life increasingly difficult for common people. He alleged that relentless inflation has severely strained household budgets, leaving families struggling to manage their daily expenses.

The Congress MLA further claimed that the Central Government has failed to bring inflation under control, forcing citizens across the country to bear the burden of rising living costs. According to Singh, people are looking for meaningful relief at a time when economic pressures continue to mount.

Taking a swipe at the Centre, Pargat Singh said the government appears more focused on making grand claims than providing concrete solutions to address the challenges faced by the public. He asserted that citizens deserve effective measures to curb inflation rather than what he described as slogans and promises.

The remarks come amid ongoing political debate over inflation and the rising cost of essential commodities, with opposition leaders continuing to question the Centre’s handling of economic issues.
