Chandigarh:-During a function organised at village Dadhera, S. Harchand Singh Burst, Chairman Punjab Mandi Board (State General Secretary Aam Aadmi Party Punjab) thanked the villagers for donating 18 quintals of land to the Punjab Mandi Board for building a market and honoured the Sarpanch and Panchayat.
Speaking during this function, S. Harchand Singh Burst congratulated the residents of the area and said that this market will prove to be a milestone in the economic development of this area. With the construction of this market, new employment opportunities will be created in the area. Due to which the farmers will get good value for their hard work. He said that this market is located on the Patiala-Nabha main road, which will not cause any problem in lifting. Due to its proximity to the city, it will reduce the increasing burden of Patiala market and will prove helpful to the farmers in selling their produce nearby and easily.
He said that the state government led by Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is developing Punjab in all directions. All the guarantees have been fulfilled by the AAP government during the past four years, which is why the people are satisfied.
On the one hand, the Aam Aadmi Party government is providing basic facilities to the people, on the other hand, more than 65 thousand government jobs have been given without any bribe or recommendation. Where Aam Aadmi clinics have been built to provide good health facilities to the people, there is a facility of free and cashless treatment of up to Rs 10 lakh annually under the Chief Minister’s Health Scheme.
600 units of free electricity are being provided to the people. Canal water is being provided to the fields. A campaign is being launched against drugs to make the state drug-free. Playgrounds are being built across the state to connect the youth with sports. Under the Chief Minister’s Mother Daughters Satkar Yojana, women will get Rs. 1000 per month and women belonging to the Scheduled Caste community will get Rs. 1500 per month. Apart from this, free bus travel facility is also being provided to women.
He said that the state government is continuously working to make Punjab a colorful and prosperous Punjab. From the government’s policies, administrative reforms to curbing corruption and decisions taken for the welfare of every section, the common people are very happy.
