Preet Kaur Gill Returns to Former Primary School in North Edgbaston, Inspires Students with Her Journey to Parliament

London-Preet Kaur Gill recently returned to her former school, City Road Primary School in North Edgbaston, in a visit she described as both emotional and inspiring. Gill, who studied at the school during her childhood, met with Year 5 and Year 6 pupils as part of an aspiration session aimed at encouraging students to think about their future goals and ambitions.

During her interaction with the students, Gill shared her personal journey from growing up in the local community to becoming the Member of Parliament for the same area. She spoke about the importance of education, perseverance, and self-belief, highlighting how her own experiences shaped her path into public service. Her message focused on motivating young people to understand that their background should never limit their aspirations.

The session included an open discussion where pupils asked questions about her career, challenges in politics, and her role as an MP. Gill praised the curiosity and enthusiasm of the students, noting that their ideas and ambitions reflected a bright future for the community.

Concluding her visit, Gill expressed gratitude to the staff and students of City Road Primary School for their warm welcome, stating that it was a privilege to return to the place where her own journey began and to encourage the next generation to aim high and believe in their potential.
