One Km Kartarpur-Bholath Road Unrepaired for 7 Months Says  MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira

Bholath (Punjab): In a sharp attack on the Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira has highlighted the poor condition of a key stretch of the Kartarpur-Bholath road, accusing the administration of failing to deliver on basic infrastructure promises.
Sharing a video from the site, Khaira stated:
“The video exposes the false claims of @BhagwantMann about so-called development! @AamAadmiParty govt has failed to repair merely 1 Km stretch on the most important Kartarpur-Bholath road for the last 7 months, causing immense harassment to commuters.” He tagged @INCIndia, @INCPunjab, and @IYC. Khaira, the three-time MLA from Bholath and a vocal opposition voice, has consistently raised concerns about road infrastructure and development works in the region. His criticism aligns with broader questions on the AAP government’s performance in maintaining key rural and connecting roads in Punjab.
Sukhpal Singh Khaira has been a prominent critic of the AAP regime on multiple fronts, including road projects, alleged favouritism in tenders, and governance issues. This latest statement on the Kartarpur-Bholath road adds to the list of infrastructure-related grievances from the opposition. The AAP government, on its part, has highlighted various development initiatives across Punjab, but opposition leaders like Khaira argue that ground realities in constituencies such as Bholath tell a different story
