Chandigarh: Advocate Harnoor has reacted sharply to the latest political developments in the Punjab Congress, suggesting that the party’s internal power struggle extends beyond the role of its state president.In a statement shared on social media, Advocate Harnoor remarked that the “biggest threat to the Chief Minister’s chair is not always the party president. Sometimes it’s the Leader of the Opposition with two flags outside his house,” hinting at the influence of senior leaders within the Congress.
Referring to recent developments, Harnoor alleged that Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring was made an “immediate scapegoat,” while former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi rushed to assign blame. At the same time, he claimed that Leader of the Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa remained silent and emerged politically stronger.
