Chandigarh / Punjab: Senior Congress leader and former Additional Director General of Police Gurinder Singh Dhillon IPS has appealed to all party leaders and workers to set aside differences and present a completely united front ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. In a recent statement, Dhillon stressed that only a cohesive and disciplined organisation can challenge the ruling Aam Aadmi Party and regain the confidence of the people of Punjab. He called upon every section of the party, from senior leaders to grassroots workers to work together with a single focus: securing victory in the forthcoming assembly polls.
Dhillon, who joined the Congress after taking voluntary retirement from the Punjab Police, said internal unity is the strongest weapon the party possesses at this critical juncture.
