Chandigarh:- The two-day Chandigarh Photo Video Expo-2026 organized by Chandigarh Photographers Association at Kisan Bhawan, Sector 35 concluded today with enthusiasm and success. On the second day of this grand exhibition, Punjab Mandi Board Chairman and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab State General Secretary S. Harchand Singh Burst attended as the chief guest.
The second day of the event was started by the chief guest S. Harchand Singh Burst by lighting the lamp. After this, he toured the entire exhibition with the office bearers of the association. He looked at the photographs, modern photography techniques, new cameras, videography gadgets and digital innovations displayed in the exhibition very closely and praised the youth including the organizers.
On this occasion, S. Burst said that photography is not just a profession, but a very beautiful art. The new technologies introduced in today’s digital era have transformed the field of photography and have created many new and golden employment opportunities for the youth. He encouraged all the photographers and videographers present to adopt these new and modern technologies to the maximum.
Stressing on the importance of photography, he said that it requires complete concentration and dedication to take a good picture. Photographers capture the precious moments of life in the camera through their art, so that these memories can be preserved for a long time. He praised this initiative of the Chandigarh Photographers Association and said that such expos provide a good platform to understand world-class technologies under one roof.
The organizers of the Chandigarh Photographers Association specially honored the chief guest S. Harchand Singh Burst by presenting a memento. On this occasion, DMO Kisan Bhawan Ajaypal Singh Brar, Mandi Board Staff Officer Surmukh Singh and Senior Photographer Arvinder Singh were also honored. On this occasion, Association Chairman J.P.S. Garcha, President Saroj Singh Chauhan, Cashier Subhash Bhatia, Senior Vice President Mohinder Singh Rana, General Secretary Sunil Bhatt, Senior Advisor Sundar along with office bearers of Chandigarh Photographers Association, representatives of various companies, photographers and videographers were present in large numbers.
