Increasing thefts in hospitals are exposing the failure of ‘AAP’ government: Sidhu

Chandigarh-Former Punjab Health Minister and senior Congress leader Balbir Singh Sidhu exposed the AAP government’s hollow policies regarding the health department. He said that the Center of Excellence for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders building located in Sector-79 of Mohali, which was built by the previous Congress government due to his efforts to bring it to Mohali, is now turning into a ruin under the rule of the AAP government.

Targeting the Punjab government, he said, “Punjab health department’s condition is deteriorating, lakhs of machinery has been stolen in hospitals, who is responsible for this? Will the health minister or the chief minister bear the cost, because it is all due to their mistakes.”

Targeting the AAP government, he said that this hospital was specially built for children with autism and other mental development disorders and their families, which is being destroyed under the rule of the AAP government. It was the first hospital of its kind in Punjab for children suffering from autism.

He further said, “It has been 3 years since the AAP government came to power in Punjab and they have done nothing but print false advertisements.” Bhagwant Maan Sarkar’s health revolution model now seems to be failing completely.

On misuse of Punjab money by AAP government, Sidhu said that Bhagwant Maan government has completely ruined the health department of Punjab. Emphasizing the need for immediate attention, Sidhu urged the Chief Minister to take personal interest in these important projects and direct the concerned departments to complete them quickly and start this project immediately, as it is necessary for people with special needs.

He concluded that action should be taken against the person responsible for the theft and negligence in the hospital, so that a positive message of proper use of public money is sent.
