California,- Federal authorities arrested 11 foreign nationals in California in connection with allegations of illegally registering and voting in U.S. elections. A total of 28 individuals have been charged statewide under “Operation Protect the Vote.”
Among those named is Amandeep Kaur, 30, an Indian national living in Rancho Palos Verdes, who prosecutors allege registered to vote in December 2022 and voted in the November 2024 U.S. election. The cases involve allegations of fraudulent voter registration and, for some defendants, false statements in naturalization applications.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court
