Govt Committed to Child Development: Baljit Kaur

CHANDIGARH: In a Significant Step towards the comprehensive development of children in Punjab, Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur recently conducted a high-level meeting with officials from the Department of Rural Development and Panchayats to discuss the construction of Anganwadi Centers in the state.

Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the betterment of all sections of society, with a particular focus on the well-being and development of children. The meeting held by Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur underscores the government’s dedication to this cause.

During the meeting, Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur meticulously reviewed the progress and condition of Anganwadi Centers currently under construction throughout the state. She emphasized the urgency of completing these centers promptly to ensure that the benefits reach the children at the earliest possible time.

The Cabinet Minister underscored the government’s commitment to transparent and high-quality construction standards for Anganwadi Centers. Ensuring that these centers are built to the highest standards will provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children they will serve.
