Punjab School Education Board Announces 3rd International Punjabi Language Olympiad-2025

Mohali: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has officially announced the 3rd International Punjabi Language Olympiad-2025, an event dedicated to promoting and celebrating the rich heritage of the Punjabi language.

According to the announcement, online registration will remain open from August 18, 2025, to October 31, 2025. The Olympiad is designed for students, with a special focus on participation from Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to strengthen their linguistic and cultural connection with Punjab.

For NRI students, a mock test is scheduled for November 10, 2025, while the final test will be held on December 6, 2025.

To encourage participation and honour excellence, attractive prizes have been announced for NRI students. The first prize winner will receive ₹11,000, the second prize ₹7,100, and third prize ₹5,100 each will be awarded to eight students.

PSEB Chairman Dr Amarpal Singh said that the event aims to instil pride in the Punjabi mother tongue, especially among younger generations, and to create a global platform for Punjabi speakers.
