SYDNEY: Sikh community leader Amrinder Singh Bajwa attended the NSW Labor Conference, describing the event as a valuable platform for meaningful discussions on public policy, community engagement, and the future of New South Wales.
Bajwa said it was a privilege to participate in the conference, which featured prominent speakers from across the state who shared their expertise, personal experiences, and vision for building stronger and more inclusive communities. He noted that the discussions reflected a shared commitment to fairness, equality, and public service.
“It was a privilege to attend the NSW Labor Conference, a gathering enriched by outstanding speakers from across the state who brought deep insight, passion, and lived experience to every discussion. Their commitment to strengthening our communities and advancing a fairer, more inclusive New South Wales was truly inspiring,” Bajwa said.
He added that he was honoured to contribute to the conversations and stand alongside fellow Labor members and delegates throughout the conference.
“Supporting their work and engaging in collective dialogue reaffirmed the values that unite us — service, equity, and a shared commitment to building a stronger future,” he said.
Bajwa emphasized the importance of collaborative leadership and community participation in shaping policies that benefit people from all backgrounds. He said conferences such as these provide an opportunity for diverse voices to be heard and for ideas to be exchanged in the interest of building a stronger and more inclusive New South Wales.
