CHANDIGARH( Satnam Singh Chahal)— Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, is scheduled to visit Sangrur district on November 4, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Pargat Singh has announced. The visit comes as the Punjab Congress begins intensifying its organisational and political preparations for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections.
According to Pargat Singh, Rahul Gandhi’s visit is expected to give fresh impetus to the party’s activities in the Malwa region, a politically significant part of Punjab.
