Navjot Singh, Harkomal Singh and Mohobbatbir Randhawa Faces 14 Charges After Two More Illegal Firearms Seized in Brampton

Brampton, Ontario: A 29-year-old man from Innisfail, Alberta, Navjot Singh, is facing a total of 14 charges following an ongoing investigation into illegal firearms seized after a traffic stop in Brampton, Peel Regional Police said.The investigation began on August 10, 2026, when officers from the 21 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau investigated a vehicle near Cedarbrook Road and Edgewater Court at about 2:20 a.m. Police said three people were inside the vehicle and a loaded illegal handgun was found. Three men were subsequently arrested and charged. According to Peel Regional Police, investigators later attended the residence of one of the accused on August 13 at approximately 10:30 p.m. and located two additional firearms  a 9 mm handgun and a sawed-off rifle  along with ammunition.

Police said Singh has now been further charged with careless storage of a firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorised, careless storage of ammunition, two counts of possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, and failure to comply with an undertaking.

Singh was previously charged in connection with the August 10 incident, including firearm-related offences and obstructing a peace officer. Police said he now faces 14 charges related to the investigation and was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice. The other two individuals arrested in the original traffic stop were identified by police as Harkomal Singh, 29, of Brampton, and Mohobbatbir Randhawa, 23, of Brampton. They were also charged with multiple firearm-related offences.
