Brampton – Members of the 22 Division Community Incident Response Team (CIRT), in collaboration with the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau, have arrested and charged two Brampton men in connection with a significant drug and stolen property investigation.
On August 6, 2025, police executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a residential address in Brampton. The operation resulted in the recovery of a substantial quantity of suspected illicit substances, including heroin and crystal methamphetamine, with an estimated combined street value exceeding $110,000. Investigators also seized a large cache of stolen goods valued at more than $54,000.
At the scene, officers arrested Parveen Gill, 40, and Gurpreet Mangat, 26, both of Brampton. Gill faces charges of disobeying a court order, possession of stolen property, and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (crystal methamphetamine and heroin). Mangat has been charged with failure to comply with a release order, possession of stolen property, and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (crystal methamphetamine and heroin).
Both accused were held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
